In cooperation with Tess Opie (an amazing sexuality educator) we are organising a workshop for women who are keen to discover and explore their own sexuality and sexual connection in their relationship. This workshop will require active participation in conversations with other participants in the group. See the flyer below for more information. If you'd like to attend, please give me or Tess a call or send us an email (details on the flyer).
We take the concerns about the widespread Covid-19 virus very seriously. We have taken extra precaution for the safety of our clients in the practice by providing a hand washing facility and hand sanitiser. We also request client who are not feeling well, to stay home. We will not charge cancellation fees.
If face-to-face consultations will be too unsafe to continue, we have set up a secure online video consultation room which clients can access at the time of their booked appointment. If you'd like to use this facility, please inform Selma and she can provide you with instructions. Our aim is to keep everyone safe and healthy in these challenging times, physically but specifically mentally. 2017 theme: LOVE BONDING AND INTIMACY This theme goes beyond the current definition of “intimacy” which almost always implies being sexual with another person. It aims to break the idea that sexuality is just having sex, integrating the emotional aspects of it, and the human need for bonding. The joyful part of it is the sharing of our own sexual health and sexuality with someone we love or people we choose. World Sexual Health Day is proclaimed by the World Association of Sexual Health (WAS) to create a more open attitude to discuss sexuality and sexual behaviour.
So if you feel there is something to discuss with your partner about your sexual relationship, use today as a excuse to start the conversation such as: "Hey love, do you know today is Sexual Health Day? To promote people talking about their sexual health and happiness. How do you feel about our sexual intimacy/relationship?" Any problems or questions? Feel free to touch base with me. Frequency of sex has decreased.
